Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Transport Manager to lead our Bangalore operations. This role is ideal for someone who has a balanced flair for sales and operations and is looking to grow within a reputed logistics company.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate daily transport operations at the AI SATS Warehouse

Oversee fleet scheduling driver deployment and on-time delivery performance
-
Maintain strong relationships with vendors clients and internal teams
-
Drive operational efficiency while keeping a keen eye on cost control
-
Actively participate in business development and sales discussions
-
Generate leads and contribute to revenue growth through service promotion
-
Ensure compliance with safety legal and regulatory standards

Supervise a team and provide clear direction and performance feedback
Ideal Candidate Profile

Age between 35 to 45 years
-
Minimum 5 10 years of experience in transport/logistics operations

Prior experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager in a transport company is essential

Energetic and enthusiastic about sales with a proven ability to build client relationships

Strong leadership team management and communication skills

Sound understanding of transportation compliance and documentation

Familiarity with the Bangalore logistics landscape is an added advantage
