Production Manager Manufacturing Sector

Are you an experienced Production Manager with a passion for operational excellence and team leadership We are seeking an individual to lead our production operations ensuring timely cost-effective and high-quality manufacturing output.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all production activities to meet project and sales targets.
- Develop and manage production schedules ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource use.
- Lead capacity and material planning including subcontractor coordination.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Monitor and report on production performance including cost quality and delivery metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering Quality and Procurement.
- Maintain accurate records for traceability maintenance and compliance.
- Support procurement processes and provide cost data for bids and tenders.
- Ensure a safe clean and legally compliant working environment.
- Supervise motivate and develop production staff identifying training needs and resolving grievances.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a production management role within manufacturing and assembly environments.
- Strong leadership planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word.
- Solid understanding of production costing scheduling and quality control.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and continuous improvement methodologies.
