Job Description

Job Description Summary

Within the L5 Component Repair Insourcing Program the Program Manager will be an integral part of the PMO team and support during the technical selection and industrialization phases of new equipment and repair processes.
This role will also act as a key interface between industrialization and shop production ensuring that all necessary steps for production readiness are completed and that new products/processes are successfully transitioned into serial production.
The position will operate across the Aero Alliance Shop Network with particular focus on Avenza (Italy) where the Cleaning and Inspection department will growth in Component Repair capabilities.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the equipment industrialization activities in terms of timing budget safety quality and technical content.
  • Act as a bridge between L5 industrialization and shop operations
  • Coordinate ramp-up activities for new component repair tracking progress against KPIs and identifying corrective actions as needed.
  • Define production readiness plans for new processes in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering Operations and Production Planning teams.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Global Planning to secure materials resources and proper sequencing ahead of production start.
  • Act as supervisor in the start-up qualification and industrialization phases of new special processes

Requirements

  • Technical High School Diploma with proven shop floor experience.
  • Fluency in English and Italian in writing and speaking.
  • Previous experience in Cleaning Inspection and Component Repair activities.
  • Experience in industrialization production planning or manufacturing in a complex industrial environment.
  • Understanding of production/repair processes related to turbomachinery.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects with a strong results-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with production flows capacity planning and ERP/MES systems.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally if requested.
