Join our team as an EU Data Center Coordinator!

At Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. we are seeking a dedicated individual to manage our Data Center in Paisley Scotland. This outstanding opportunity allows you to collaborate with our world-class team ensuring flawless operations and delivering outstanding services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage power cooling fire suppression and floor planning services in the Data Center.
  • Coordinate local facility services vendor that provides engineering services.
  • Coordinate the implementation of data center infrastructure projects strictly adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate and determine maintenance schedules to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Successfully implement standard methodologies for data center operations and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and optimize data center performance to compete at the highest level.
  • Provide data center facility subject matter expertise to any business unit througout Europe.
  • Leverage strategic business partners to develop and provide facility solutions for business units

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data center facility services management or a related IT role.
  • Strong understanding of power cooling and fire suppression systems.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different business units and collaborators.
  • Working knowledge of IT equipment operations is beneficial
  • Relevant certifications in data center management or IT fields are advantageous.
