Job Description
Location: Frisco TX 75035
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient status pre- intra- and post-procedure including vital signs consciousness levels and cardiac rhythms.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and manage catheterization lab equipment.
- Document all nursing activities and interventions accurately in the medical record.
- Respond to emergencies using critical thinking and ACLS protocols.
- Provide patient education and post-procedure care instructions.
- Collaborate with the Cath Lab team to maintain a high standard of care and safety.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors in Nursing).
- In lieu of degree minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Licensure & Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) Texas state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire.
