Job Description

Cath Lab - RN Permanent Role

Location: Frisco TX 75035
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
  • Monitor patient status pre- intra- and post-procedure including vital signs consciousness levels and cardiac rhythms.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
  • Maintain sterile technique and manage catheterization lab equipment.
  • Document all nursing activities and interventions accurately in the medical record.
  • Respond to emergencies using critical thinking and ACLS protocols.
  • Provide patient education and post-procedure care instructions.
  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team to maintain a high standard of care and safety.
Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors in Nursing).
  • In lieu of degree minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) Texas state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire.
