CGI is seeking a data reporting & integration analyst to support a client team in the Department of Justice. The successful candidates will support an application reporting environment that is critical to several areas of the clients business providing data to help users and executives make informed decisions. The environment includes the IBI WebFOCUS Business Intelligence platform IBI Data Migrator Oracle RDMS and Momentum. The Analysts will perform both support for existing reports and project work (e.g. enhancements new development of reports).
Our team helps our clients deploy upgrade and enhance their instances of webFOCUS in order to help them maximize the benefits they derive from using the reporting application while providing support to ensure that the systems are reliable and stable for their end users.
This position is located in Washington DC.
The data reporting & integration analysts responsibilities will include:
Assess investigate and resolve issues reported by Client support team in webFOCUS
Elicit functional requirements from the business community and work closely with technical team members to develop solutions.
Execute short term projects in the above applications including owning all functional areas: requirements gathering documentation testing etc.
Regularly contribute to refining operating processes and tooling to improve how the team operates.
Top Secret Clearance required
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree or 5 years work experience covering the desired qualifications.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Desired qualifications to be successful in this role
1. 1-3 years experience in software development support data analytics or business intelligence reporting
2. Experience troubleshooting and defining application issues
3. Ability to update support and development related documentation e.g. solution design testing results
4. Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
5. Ability to gather and understand a clients requirements
6. Experience developing reports in an Agile framework
7. Ability to work independently and conduct research to find solutions that are beyond existing knowledge
8. Track record of being able to quickly learn new applications and ongoing interest in learning new technologies
9. Programming / scripting experience in modern languages e.g. SQL JavaScript or Python
10. Experience with webFOCUS Business Objects Cognos Tableau or PowerBI a plus
11. Experience with Momentum or Oracle Financials and understanding of the database/data model
12. Project management experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61900.00 - $150800.00.
