The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Talent Acquisition (Europe) to lead and evolve the talent acquisition function across multiple European markets. In this pivotal leadership role you will define and execute hiring strategies that attract top tech talent for diverse international clients and projects.
You will manage and inspire a team of experienced recruiters drive data-informed recruitment processes and contribute directly to business development and client success by aligning talent strategies with market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable forward-thinking talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals and client needs.
Lead mentor and develop a high-performing TA team (57 technical recruiters and leads) across Portugal.
Build trusted partnerships with clients supporting pre-sales efforts by translating business goals into effective hiring plans.
Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes focusing on proactive sourcing headhunting talent mapping and creating strong pipelines.
Monitor and report key recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire quality-of-hire and candidate experience to continuously refine performance.
Champion innovation in sourcing and selection practices using AI-driven tools and advanced techniques to engage top talent.
Promote diversity equity and inclusion throughout all talent acquisition activities.
Ideal Candidate
10 years of experience in IT recruitment with at least 6 years focused on active headhunting for senior and specialized roles.
Proven leadership experience managing distributed recruitment teams across multiple countries.
Expertise in advanced sourcing strategies including passive candidate engagement through social media Boolean search and AI tools.
Solid understanding of technical profiles programming languages development platforms and market trends.
Demonstrated ability to partner with clients and internal stakeholders to align recruitment processes with business objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability and a continuous improvement approach.
