Job Description
Our Analytical Testing Supervisors are responsible for:
Technical Responsibilities:
- Supervising analytical testing of pharmaceutical utilities (e.g. water air gas) and raw materials
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP regulatory standards and internal SOPs
- Reviewing and approving test results documentation and deviations
- Supporting method validation and instrument calibration activities
- Investigating quality issues and implementing corrective/preventive actions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support client needs and project timelines
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Leading mentoring and developing a team of analysts and technicians
- Coordinating training programs and ensuring documentation is up to date
- Managing team schedules workload distribution and onboarding of new hires
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives in lab operations and quality systems
- Representing the lab in audits client meetings and internal reviews
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related scientific field or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced GMP environment
- Experience with cleanroom operations and aseptic techniques
- Strong communication skills attention to detail and ability to work independently and in teams
- Self-motivated with excellent planning and multitasking abilitiess
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.
What to Expect in the Hiring Process:
- 10-15 minute phone interview with the Recruiter
- 60-minute virtual meeting with the Hiring Team
- 30-minute virtual meeting with the Site Director
Additional Information :
The position is a full-time 1st shift role. Hours will be Mon-Fri from 8 am-4:30 pm. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer NY are encouraged to apply. The position includes excellent full-time benefits; including comprehensive medical coverage dental and vision options.
