Sr. IT Infrastructure Engineer with proven experience in implementing and optimizing systems/infrastructure technical support and troubleshooting scripting and automation and security mindset to ensure performance and seamless functionality.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with multiple teams to manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
Securely implement and support identity access and infrastructure projects.
Proactively ensure high levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Monitor and test network performance for potential bottlenecks and identify possible solutions.
Maintain security backup and redundancy strategies.
Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time on tasks.
Provide L2/3 escalation support.
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Deploy and support integrations domain trust configuration agents deployments etc. that can facilitate connectivity between SSO directory and provisioning tools.
Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure diagrams and create processes SOPs and other technical documentation.
Lead assigned projects and implement automation wherever possible.
Provide technical leadership and training to engineers on the team.
Skills
Experience in leading enterprise deployments of Microsoft technologies including Azure O365 Active Directory domain resolution etc.
Experience architecting designing and implementing Disaster Recovery solutions across a multi-site/hybrid environment.
Expert in technology infrastructure integration and cybersecurity systems design deployment and testing.
Extensive knowledge and experience in applying technology infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts cybersecurity architecture and engineering principles and security of networks systems applications and data.
SME in Windows server solutions including OS installation domain configuration and AD architecture (GPO AD schema certificate-based authentication PKI etc.).
Experience with VMware Hyper-V KVM or similar solutions.
Project management abilities to work on programs with some direction.
Communications/Leadership
Excellent communication oral written and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop effective and cooperative working relationships across multiple areas.
Ability to lead network projects mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Education/Technology
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems or a related field.
CompTIA A or other IT-related certifications desired.
