Job Description

The Tightening Systems Sales Engineering position is responsible for developing and growing strategic customers consisting of end users Tier 1s line builders and channel partner target accounts. This role demands a proactive and strategic approach to expand Bosch Rexroths market presence and ensure sustained growth through effective business development strategies.  We seek an accomplished sales professional with a demonstrated history of nurturing strong relationships with both partners and customers.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote tightening systems sales at new accounts and expand business at existing customers.
  • Foster and sustain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
  • Generate sales and provide customer support of Bosch Rexroths Joining products.
  • Drive the sales specification process at end users while working both independently and collaboratively with Key Account Managers and channel partners. 
  • Determine pricing offered to direct customers and work with channel partners on pricing including special pricing agreements.
  • Provide input to Bosch Rexroth sales management product management and customer support teams in the areas of sales policies pricing market growth and trends competitive information and sales initiatives.
  • Able to make technical presentations and communicate product features benefits and advantages of our tightening portfolio. 
  • Act as the primary liaison for channel partners with frequent regular communication on target accounts sales marketing and product development initiatives.
  • Provide regular reporting activities using CRM for account activity opportunities quotations account development etc.
  • Provide reports as required in a timely fashion (i.e. expense reports business plans etc.).
  • Participate in sales meetings training sessions trade show exhibits etc. as required.
  • Coordinate with marketing to drive lead generation efforts and routing of leads to appropriate partners.
  • Evaluate customer requirements budgets and applications and assist in preparing proposals to provide the best solution utilizing the Rexroth tightening systems portfolio.
  • Collaborate with regional partners/distributors in developing and setting annual sales targets.
  • Participate in special assignments as required.
  • Typical travel up to 75% covering the South East region of the US 

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in technical area such as Engineering Applied Science or Manufacturing
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in automotive or industrial assembly industries.
  • Knowledge of tightening tools applications and automation connectivity preferred..
  • Ability to analyze customer technical requirements and CAD assembly drawings.
  • Proven ability to develop customer base and generate sales to accomplish regional goals
  • Capable of conducting technical and sales presentations to key clients
  • Necessary time management skills to handle a consistently high level of sales activity and calls.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience working with international manufacturers is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service communication presentation negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial driven mindset
  • Travel is required
