Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager the Accounts Team Leader Debtors Manager will be responsible for providing full Accounts partnering services to St Vincents Care to ensure a well-supported accounts team function. You will primarily focus on the management of debtors ensuring all accounts are paid in full and on time. To be successful in the role you will require knowledge of Microsoft Office including excel and previous experience with accounting software packages is desirable however training in these systems can be provided.

This is a Fixed Term Full Time contract until 1 September 2026 with the opportunity for permanency subject to review. The role will work within a hybrid model which includes 3 days working from home and 2 days from our Bowen Hills office each week to ensure a healthy work life balance.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Oversee timely and full payment of accounts liaising with residents representatives and internal teams
  • Collaborate with Facility Managers Admission Coordinators and external Solicitors
  • Lead debtor reporting including monthly payment status updates
  • Support team operations including EOM processing audits and system testing
  • Drive process improvements in debtor management and account adjustments
  • Handle escalated queries and ensure clear communication with residents and departments
  • Contribute to projects and team meetings offering insights on admissions discharges and banking
  • Adapt to new systems and provide leadership support when needed
  • Transform role in line with changes to new aged care standards
