Lead the localized implementation of the IB PYP curriculum framework design curriculum plans that align with the concept of inquiry-based learning according to the characteristics of childrens development regularly update and optimize the curriculum content to ensure its coherence and challenge. Guide each class to implement the curriculum in accordance with the teaching syllabus develop age-appropriate learning goals integrate developmentally appropriate practices and project concepts and design rich and suitable classroom and outdoor activity courses for children.
Provide professional teaching guidance and training for teachers organize teaching seminars observe classroom teaching and give constructive feedback supervise the teaching progress and quality and promote the innovation and improvement of teaching methods.
Develop a scientific student assessment system collect and analyze students learning data guide teachers in writing students growth reports and regularly report students learning outcomes and curriculum implementation to parents and school management.
IB
Build a bridge for home-school communication organize parent workshops information sessions and other activities promote the IB educational philosophy and curriculum implementation to parents actively cooperate with the community and integrate resources to enrich childrens learning experiences.
IB PYP
Coordinate the work among various departments of the kindergarten create a positive team atmosphere encourage teachers professional growth participate in teacher recruitment and performance evaluation and build a high-quality IB PYP teaching team. Focus on the management of the foreign team promote the in-depth integration of teaching and research between Chinese and foreign teachers organize joint teaching and research activities promote the sharing of teaching resources and achieve complementary advantages in teaching concepts and methods.
Comprehensively manage the daily operations of the school including supervising the development and implementation of the curriculum hiring suitable teachers and staff according to teaching needs; establishing and implementing discipline management norms properly handling students disciplinary issues and maintaining good teaching order; coordinating the allocation of teaching resources to ensure the efficient operation of all aspects of the kindergarten.
Requirements
Educational Background: Hold a masters degree or above in Education Child Development or related fields.
IB PYP IB PYP
Professional Qualifications: Hold an IB officially recognized PYP Coordinator training certificate or related advanced training certificates and be familiar with the IB PYP curriculum framework and assessment system.
5 IB PYP 2 IB PYP
Work Experience: At least 5 years of teaching experience in IB PYP with at least 2 years of experience as an IB PYP Coordinator or in a similar management position and have rich experience in curriculum development and team management.
Language Proficiency: Native English speaker or equivalent English proficiency. Those with basic Chinese communication skills are preferred.
Personal Qualities: Love the cause of early childhood education have excellent communication skills teamwork skills and problem-solving abilities be innovative and responsible and be able to adapt to a cross-cultural work environment.
