HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The HR Specialist supports key Human Resource functions including recruitment onboarding employee relations compliance and administration. This role partners with teams to drive a positive employee experience and operational efficiency across their designated client groups: Art Design Merchandising and HR for HR.
Art Design & Merchandising Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition (30%)
- Lead and support efforts to recruit hire and onboard employees below manager level; partner with recruiters through all phases of the process and serve as point of contact for candidates to ensure exceptional experience
- Lead College recruitment and strategy; effectively bringing teams to consensus and decision
- In partnership with Director HR develop talent plan and strategy for EDP and Intern programs take a long-term view to support the business
Talent Development/Cycle of Performance (10%)
- Build partnerships with employees at all levels
- Support hiring managers with onboarding and orientation for all new hires
- Identify development and coaching opportunities and plan of action to address
- Coach and partner with managers through performance improvement process
- Lead reporting and auditing for goal and review process with a high level of accuracy
Talent Engagement (10%)
- Support manage and advise to successful resolution employee concerns (including investigations)
- Lead and execute check ins climate surveys and other engagement activities
- Deliver individual coaching to employees; advise on development opportunities and potential actions
HR for HR Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition (20%)
- Lead and support efforts to recruit hire and onboard employees below manager level; partner with recruiters through all phases of the process and serve as point of contact for candidates to ensure exceptional experience
- Lead College recruitment and strategy effectively bringing teams to consensus and decision
HR Projects and General Support (20%)
- Support the monthly and quarterly reconciliation of the Recruiting & Re-Org budget; collaborate with all HR client groups to update forecasts monthly; work directly with Sr. Director of TA to communicate updates and timelines
- Project manage monthly org chart updates across all HR client groups; ensure teams are executing to timelines and brand standards with accuracy
- Manage HR Town Hall calendar and agenda
- Respond to inquiries regarding policy procedure and programs; listen problem-solve and bring others along in the process
- Partner with employees and HR partners (i.e. HR Technology) to assist in resolution of any issues
Cycle of Performance (10%)
- Coordinate the annual and midyear review process by scheduling Talent Talks
- Lead reporting and auditing for goal and review process with a high level of accuracy

Must have:

- Exceptional customer service and organizational skills with high attention to accuracy follow-up and follow-through
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
- Must have min of 1.5 years of successful HR Coordinator experience in a corporate environment
Preferred skills and experience:
- Experience identifying and diagnosing issues or opportunities proposing solutions and influencing others
- Previous experience with college relations initiatives
- Exposure to organizational structuring/organizational design
- Successful experience thriving in a fast paced large corporate environment
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio) applications and HR Systems; ability to prepare written reports analysis and presentations to senior leadership as required
- Experience in Workday a plus
