Job Description
The Health and Wellness Promotion Coordinator a pivotal role reporting to the Director of Counseling and Health Services plays a significant part in Austin Peay State Universitys mission to foster a culture of student wellness. This role is instrumental in creating a pluralistic learning environment and promoting student health and wellbeing. The coordinator as part of a dynamic team will drive the strategy vision and operational leadership to develop a campus community where students thrive. This position is a key player in a cross-divisional and cross-institutional approach to administer the services functions programs and activities related to student wellbeing. The Health and Wellness Promotion Coordinator will develop implement and evaluate outreach and education activities in three primary areas of student life: Health Promotion Mental Health and Wellness and Alcohol and other drug use prevention. The coordinators student-centered approach is a cornerstone in contributing to a caring and safe campus life environment that supports the holistic success of its students. Austin Peay State University is a four-year public doctoral-level university with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 10000 students and is located in Clarksville Tennessee a community of an estimated 180000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville TN.
