Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Manager to oversee our landscaping operations in the GTA. This full-time role involves managing crews coordinating projects and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape management excellent leadership skills and a commitment to safety and client satisfaction. Any Aspire program experience is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan schedule and supervise landscaping projects including maintenance planting and hardscaping for commercial properties.

  • Lead and mentor a team of 20 - 25 field staff including scheduling and performance oversight.

  • Collaborate with the lead mechanic to ensure equipment (e.g. mowers trucks) is maintained and operational.

  • Ensure compliance with Ontarios Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) including first aid and safety protocols.

  • Manage client relationships address concerns (e.g. complaints) and uphold service standards.

  • Prepare budgets monitor costs and report to senior management on project progress.

  • Respond to seasonal demands including snow removal transitions with flexibility for early mornings or weekends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in landscape management or a related field.

  • Certification in horticulture landscape design or equivalent (e.g. Landscape Industry Certified Manager) is an asset.

  • Proven leadership experience with teams in commercial landscaping.

  • Strong knowledge of local plants irrigation systems and equipment maintenance.

  • Valid Ontario drivers license with a clean record; ability to operate landscaping vehicles.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
