Autism Practitioners (Support Workers) Housing Support Team Fife

Dunfermline Lochgelly Cowdenbeath

Autism Practitioners (Support Workers)

Full Time and Part Time positions available range of hours including 18 37 hours per week.

Pay Scale:
Starting at 12.60 per hour rising to 12.82 after probation. Opportunity to progress to 13.30 at your own pace.

100.80 per sleepover

About us:

We are committed to supporting over 60 autistic adults across Fife providing personalised care across a variety of settings including Day and Housing Support Opportunities. We tailor our support to each persons individual preferences and needs providing the right level of assistance - including 1:1 or 2:1 support - so that each person can live well and thrive. We are looking for colleagues to join our Housing Support Team.

Were looking for patient confident and engaging colleagues who bring a calm reassuring presence who also know how to have fun. Most importantly youll be someone who truly listens and values the voices of the people we support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Continuously develop and implement personalised support plans with the supported people their support network and other stakeholders to ensure their life goals and aspirations are the main focus
  • Build positive relationships with the supported people
  • To support people to take part in their chosen activities
  • Be an active part of their local community and live as independently as possible
  • Complete all tasks necessary to maintain their home and be able to support personal care needs with compassion.

As part of your role you will be required to undertake shift work including weekends and evenings so flexibility towards working hours is key. There are physical elements to this role. Shifts are typically built into a 4-week rolling rota so youve got these in advance!
