Summary:
As part of a multi-agency team the Youth and Community Support Worker helps improve safety and outcomes for young people at risk of harm outside the home. Through building trusted relationships and engaging directly with vulnerable young people in community settings the role supports access to services reduces risk and promotes wellbeing. The approach is focused on reaching out to bring back young people who are disconnected from mainstream services.
