Job Description
- Location: Temple TX 76508
- Shift: 11:00 AM 11:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
- Assess patients and identify health concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust care as needed.
- Assist with patient transfers and secure patient travel arrangements when needed.
- Anticipate patient needs and intervene early to prevent complications.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practices standards and procedures.
- Familiarity with nursing laws state and federal regulations.
- Understanding of hospital protocols and patient safety measures.
- Proficient in medical terminology disease management and medication side effects.
- Strong ethical standards and respect for patient confidentiality.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Basic computer skills including EMR systems Microsoft Office and email usage.
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program (specialization in nursing required).
- Active RN License (Texas).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already certified.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Emergency Department (ED) is required.
