Job Description

RN/Labor & Delivery Permanent Role

  • Location: Frisco TX 75035
  • Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM 07:00 AM
  • Guaranteed: 36 Hours
  • Compensation: Based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and monitor maternal and fetal well-being.
  • Recognize changes in patient condition and take appropriate actions.
  • Create implement and revise individualized care plans.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
  • Promote patient and family education regarding labor delivery and postpartum care.
  • Document nursing care and patient response accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with physicians midwives and healthcare team members.
  • Safely delegate nursing tasks and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Apply critical thinking and clinical reasoning in decision-making.
  • Use effective strategies to address patient concerns and enhance care delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire).
  • Minimum 2 years of recent full-time experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D).
  • Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills.
