Job Description
RN/Labor & Delivery Permanent Role
- Location: Frisco TX 75035
- Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM 07:00 AM
- Guaranteed: 36 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and monitor maternal and fetal well-being.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and take appropriate actions.
- Create implement and revise individualized care plans.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
- Promote patient and family education regarding labor delivery and postpartum care.
- Document nursing care and patient response accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians midwives and healthcare team members.
- Safely delegate nursing tasks and ensure timely follow-up.
- Apply critical thinking and clinical reasoning in decision-making.
- Use effective strategies to address patient concerns and enhance care delivery.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire).
- Minimum 2 years of recent full-time experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D).
- Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills.
