Job Description

RN-Labor & Delivery Permanent Role

Location: Irving TX 75061
Shift: 12 HR Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed: 36 Hours
Compensation: Based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients including monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
Assist with vaginal deliveries cesarean sections and emergencies.
Administer medications monitor IVs and provide post-partum care.
Educate patients and families on the childbirth process and newborn care.
Document assessments procedures interventions and patient responses in a timely and accurate manner.
Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition or emergencies.

Requirements: Education:

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program (Associate or Bachelors in Nursing).

License/Certification:

RN-Registered Nurse License (Texas).
BLS-Basic Life Support Certification (Required within 30 days of hire).

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery.
