Job Description

As part of our Finance team you will work with international customers be involved in crucial IT processes and play a key role in ensuring financial stability of the company. You would be a member of our core accounting team handling all issues related to accounts payable and expenses.
Based in Cebu the Accounts Payable Accountant will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.
You will be expected to:
- Perform day to day accounts payable (Invoice Processing Credit Card Transactions Supplier queries etc) and month end closing tasks for AP related accounts;
- Coordination with related stakeholders i.e. Suppliers internal requestors etc. to solve daily issues;
- Follow all internal control procedures for all AP tasks;
- Ensure that agreed SLA & KPI are constantly met;
- Produce monthly AP reports as needed;
- Provide backup for other team members and handle ad-hoc tasks
- Extract Invoices for Payments Review accuracy of the Information and upload the payment file and/or manually key into the bank portal
- Prepare Cash Forecast for Vendor Payments as well as Variance analysis of Actuals vs Forecast
- Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations related to accounts payable transactions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance invoicing and payment processes.
Qualifications :
It could be you if you have:
- A Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a closely related major;
- At least 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable function and 2 years in the Payments processing
- Good understanding of Bank Payment Portal Payment Methods and familiarity of Payment Token
- High proficiency with MS Excel and specialized financial software;
- Experience in overseeing the Accounts Payable operations
- Good communication skills and teamwork abilities;
- Hardworking and motivated with great ability to work in a fast-paced environment
