Weekend Maintenance Technician Full Time- Every Weekend
The purpose of this position is to implement facility maintenancepolicies and procedures in an efficient cost-effective manner to safely meet residentsneeds and to provide functional sanitary safe and comfortable environmentin compliance with federal state and local requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building wide maintenanceincluding responding to a daily list of work orders and requests fromresidents. Thus its essential that the tech be able to communicate clearlyand respond quickly. Key to success in this role will be a commitment tooutstanding resident care a friendly attitude and the ability to prioritizetasks as they arise.
Requirements:
- Minimum three years maintenance work experiencepreferable in a health care setting
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Working knowledge of some maintenance activitieslike electrical plumbing or painting.
- Previous experience in a position that involvedinteracting with the public like food service retail work etc.
Preferences:
- Knowledge and skills in all maintenanceactivities including electrical plumbing and painting.
- Preference given for experience in property orhealth care facility maintenance.
Machines toolsequipment and work aids:
- Air conditioners compressors gages generatorheaters mechanical tools motors nursing equipment plumbing toolstelephone miscellaneous maintenance and cleaning equipment and supplies.
Physical demands andworking conditions:
- Essential functions of the job routinelyrequire ample strength and agility to clime ladders stoop over and bend andto lift materials to successfully complete work assignments. A maintenancetechnician must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Talking and listening are essential in dealingwith other personnel and residents.
- Work is indoors and outdoors.
- Must be independent to commute betweenproperties as well as available when needed.
Shifts/Hours/Schedules: Working every other weekend.
- Fridays 9:00am 7:30pm
- Saturdays & Sundays 6:00am 7:30pm
- Seeking 1 person for this position. 36 Hours every week.

Compensation:
The starting pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour andmay increase with years of experience and skill level and annual pay raises inJanuary of each year thereafter.
