Overview
The General Medicine MD DNB Consultant role at our facility in Chomu Rajasthan is pivotal for delivering top-notch healthcare services to our patients. This experienced physician will utilize their expertise to provide comprehensive and individualized medical care while also contributing to the continuous improvement of quality standards in the department. As a key member of the healthcare team the consultant will be responsible for diagnosing treating and managing a wide range of medical conditions. This role not only involves direct patient care but also includes mentorship of junior staff participation in clinical research and the development of care protocols. The consultant will play a critical role in ensuring that patient outcomes are maximized through evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical consultations to patients with diverse health issues.
- Establish accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations.
- Collaborate with specialists for multi-disciplinary care.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and preventive care.
- Participate in clinical rounds and case discussions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in medicine.
- Supervise and mentor junior physicians and medical staff.
- Contribute to research projects and clinical trials.
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- MD in General Medicine or equivalent DNB qualification.
- State medical license to practice in Rajasthan.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a tertiary care setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical guidelines and medical protocols.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
- Experience in teaching or training medical students is preferred.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions.
- Fluency in Hindi and English; knowledge of local dialect is a plus.
- Proficient in conducting patient education sessions.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to participate in community outreach programs.
