Essential Functions: Possess thorough knowledge of Donaldson shipping procedures authorized carriers packing list requirements shipment markings and packaging. Prepare export documents required for international shipments. Arrange transportation to meet customer requirements. Generate Bills of Lading process and transmit daily shipping documents. Track and trace package shipments. Prepare packaging for international shipments. Classify and apply correct values and obtain country of origin for dutiable shipments. Resolve shipping complaints. Prepare various reports as needed. Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments and orders Maintain complete and accurate records of all shipping paperwork Communicate effectively with all plant personnel and external customers Operate a powered industrial truck and pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner; provide daily care and preventative maintenance as needed Demonstrate the ability to complete standardized duties and tasks Comply with standard work practices and SOPs Comply with all EHS and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures While this list is representative of essential job duties it is not an all-inclusive list of duties required to perform this role. Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required A minimum of one (1) year related experience Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal Ability to work under a moderate degree of supervision Ability to work cross-functionally with all departments in a professional manner Exhibit attention to detail Flexibility and agility in an ever-changing environment Consistent attendance and punctuality Ability to work overtime as required by the business Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment
A minimum of one (1) year of Forklift experience and certification
Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification (DOT) or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire
