The Pharmacy Acquisition Partner will be instrumental in expanding our network of high-performing long-term pharmacy partners for uMeds. This role focuses on identifying targeting and acquiring new dispensing partners to enhance the distribution and accessibility of prescriptions to Alternaleaf patients. This role requires strong relationship-building skills an ability to thoroughly understand the target market and a genuine passion for patient care. This role is key to increasing the number and geographic footprint of our Pharmacy Partner network to ensure we meet our next-day delivery goals while minimising the risk of having a concentrated Partner Network. This role will work closely with other Fulfilment teams to onboard new Pharmacy Partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and Convert Pharmacy Partners
- Proactively research and identify pharmacy partners that align with Montus mission and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement a targeted plan to engage and acquire these partners including:
- Communications activity plan (eg type frequency)
- Categorisation of Pharmacy Type and pathways to success
- Identification of conversion drivers and inhibitors
- Execute the acquisition plan and keep accurate and timely records in the relevant CRM tool including cold calls site visits and any other relevant activity.
- Review acquired Pharmacy Partner reports and analytics to refine the optimal Pharmacy Partner profile.
- In conjunction with the Head of Fulfilment develop and continually improve collateral and processes to achieve maximum efficiency and conversion rate for desired Partners.
- Cultivate and maintain strong long-term relationships with pharmacy owners managers and key decision-makers to secure partnership agreements.
- Contracting and Onboarding
- Lead the negotiation process with prospective partners focusing on agreement terms pricing and service standards to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Partner closely with the Pharmacy and Fulfilment Operations teams to facilitate a smooth onboarding process and handover maintaining high Partner satisfaction.
- Reporting
- Keep detailed records of all acquisition activities and deliver regular updates to the Head of Fulfilment on progress challenges and key milestones.
- Maintain records of all acquisition activities including analysis to improve Pharmacy identification and conversion.
- Ensure data is accurately maintained in the CRM.
Qualifications :
- At least 3 years of experience in business development sales or pharmacy management preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing partnerships with a proven ability to achieve targets and drive growth.
- Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of medical cannabis and the pharmacy landscape is highly desirable.
- Self-driven with the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
