About the role
Support Our Leaders: Assist Nurse Unit Managers with recruitment processes staff appraisals audits and compliance reporting. Youll be an essential part of driving workforce success.
Be the Go-To Administrator: Manage rosters enter accurate data in systems like Kronos and MHoat maintain staff records and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Coordinate & Communicate: Liaise with Payroll and clinical teams schedule multidisciplinary meetings take minutes and keep everyone on track with timely follow-ups.
Keep Things Running Smoothly: Monitor ward supplies and equipment coordinate repairs and support stock controlhelping frontline staff deliver excellent patient care.
Grow with Us: Get involved in quality improvement projects research support accreditation processes and broader Inner City Health admin activitiesincluding providing coverage for reception and across teams when needed.
About you
To succeed in this role youll bring a strong sense of empathy excellent organisational skills and a team-first attitude. Ideally you will have:
Exceptional Frontline Service Skills: A warm professional approach that reflects the values of St Vincents Health Network with the ability to communicate compassionately with patients carers and clinical staff.
Tech-Savvy and Detail-Oriented: Proven computer literacy across Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and experience using electronic clinical and administrative systems in a healthcare setting.
Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence in phone-based interactions and an ability to build rapport with diverse teams and clients.
Strong Time Management & Problem Solving: Able to multitask prioritise effectively and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
Team Player with Compassion: Comfortable working both independently and as part of a busy multidisciplinary team with a sensitive respectful approach to people from vulnerable or complex backgrounds.
