Job Description
Overview
Sierra ITS partners with many local municipalities that require full-time on-site technical staff to support users. Were currently adding a full time IT Support Technician contract role to join our staff that provides support to the Village of Schaumburg based at their village headquarters.
Youll join our current team that provides primarily hands-on support (some email/phone) to their 600 local users including first responders when needed. Technologies include Active Directory Win 10/11 O365 IE/Chrome VMware Custom Applications and Mobile devices.
REQUIRED:
- 5 years of corporate hands-on IT support
- Active Directory support
- Expert level laptop/PC support
- Basic server and networking exposure
- Custom software support
- User-centric communication skills
- Government experience a plus
This is a full-time contract position (M-F 8 AM - 4PM) with renewals on a monthly basis. Its as stable (actually more) than most positions with several of our employees having worked with on this team for the last 5 years. The position pays a quality hourly rate.
