Job Description

The Position

As our Safety Manager you will play a key role in managing product safety and complaint process to meet the legal requirements as well as to provide high quality focus to ensure internal and external stakeholder satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing product safety and complaint handling processes to meet legal requirements.
  • The operational tasks include daily case handling with processing of all product safety and complaint concerns handling follow-up questions complaint samples and response letters.
  • Generating insights from customer interactions to inform strategy and therapy area development.
  • Ensuring the quality and oversight of safety and complaint databases
  • Ensuring PV compliance for initiatives projects and applications with local impact (e.g. market research programmes patient support programmes RWE studies and digital marketing).

It is a role where presence in our office in Malm. expected 2-3 times per week from our office in Malm.

Qualifications

Were searching for an excellent communicator who has a personal drive for completing tasks and take initiatives. The person that will thrive in the role meets the following qualifications:

  • Holds an academic degree preferably within pharmacy or a related field or other relevant degree within life-science.
  • Relevant industry experience including preferably at least 5 years related to patient safety.
  • Experience in vendor oversight and pharmacovigilance assessments
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance/regulatory systems & government guidelines
  • Science skills and familiarity with medical terms
  • Ability and willingness to take on responsibility and assume ownership
  • Ability and willingness to handle routine tasks (recording of safety data in database and follow-up) and ensuring processes are developed/improved
  • Fluency in both oral and written Swedish and English.

About the Department

The position sits within the Regulatory Safety and Quality team in Malm Sweden and you will report directly to the Head of Regulatory Safety and Quality. The Department is responsible for managing all regulatory safety and quality operations in full compliance with corporate and legal requirements. With this position the Department consists of 7 colleagues and the Head of Regulatory Safety and Quality.
