Description

As part of the Here for You Guides pilot there is the opportunity for students to join the team as a Peer Guide.

Start Date:15/09/2025
End Date: 19/06/2026
Working Hours: 6 hours per week but hours are flexible
Pay Rate: 13.12 per hour plus holiday pay
Location: School of Psychology University Park
Dress Code: Casual

The Peer Guide will play a vital role in supporting fellow students as they transition into University life. As a final-year student or a postgraduate student they will work closely with the Academic Guide and the Student Advice Coordinator contributing to a multi-disciplinary team.

The Peer Guide will actively engage in developing activities that facilitate the smooth transition of students into University. They will serve as a point of contact for students seeking advice from a peer perspective.

Additionally they will maintain close contact with student societies and student union representatives.
