Supply Manager I
The Department of Administrations Division of State Agency Support Services is seeking a Supply Manager I to join the team. Surplus Propertymanages the sale and disposal of personal surplus state property and the distribution of federal government property equipment and vehicles to government agencies qualified non-profit entities and the public. In this position you will manage all online sales in the State and Federal Warehouses at the Surplus Property Office.

Responsibilities of the Supply Manager I:
  • Coordinate online sales of state property by handling the technical responsibilities of posting the items for sale notifying the buyer and making sure the Online Sales Managers property disposal needs are met.
  • Responsible for loading sold property and unloading items designated for online sales.
  • Attend and participate in all on-site and off-site auctions.
  • Perform other related duties as required such as assisting with federal and state customer service.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and work experience directly related to the area of employment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience working in a warehouse.
  • Knowledge of merchandising and customer service concepts.
  • Ability to help train new employees and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Employee must have a valid Class D Drivers License.
  • Employee will be required to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to operate a forklift and climb ladders.
