Job Description

WHATS THE JOB

The Food and Beverage Server position is critical to the success of the culinary team. In this role the F&B servers will complete various tasks throughout the day based on their shift schedule and time of day. They may work split shifts night shifts early mornings and late nights depending on the schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the serving of prepared hot and cold food items during meal periods.
  • Clean/wipe all surfaces tables chairs coffee stations in the lunchroom. 
  • Clean table trays fill salt pepper fill napkin dispensers.
  • Wipe outside of the steam well
  • Wipe down food warmer microwaves air fryers coffee makers etc.
  • Keep serving area clean and clear of clutter.
  • Clean out popcorn machine
  • Wipe down the fridge water cooler tray and water jug.
  • Fill pre-made coffee
  • Clean and fill juice dispensers.
  • Sweep and mop dining room floors as required
  • Performing deep cleaning as required
  • Ensure health and safety regulations and quality standards are maintained
  • Assist in loading unloading and placing supplies and inventory
  • Food and water jug pick up and cleaning of lunchrooms
  • Help load and deliver food orders

Physical Demands:

  • Lift carry push or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb ladders or stairs.
  • Stand walk squat kneel or sit according to task for extended lengths of time.
  • Perform repetitive hand work requiring full use of both hands.
  • Work with arms above shoulder height.

Qualifications :

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Large-scale food service assisting in camp settings banquet halls and/or hotels is a strong asset
  • Current Food Safe certification is an asset
  • Ability to commit to a 4 week on/2 week off rotation 
  • A team-player who is committed to providing client satisfaction 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple task demands and organize a work schedule
  • Must have valid government issued photo ID for travel to site 
  • Ability to handle the following physical demands:
    • Lift carry push or pull up to 50 lbs 
    • Climb ladders or stairs 
    • Stand walk squat kneel or sit according to task for extended periods of time 
    • Perform repetitive hand work requiring full use of both hands
    • Perform work with arms at full length 
    • Work with arms above shoulder height

Work schedule and remuneration: 

F&B Servers work on a rotational schedule of 4 weeks on/2 weeks off. Site locations are in remote settings requiring either air travel to site or via ground on our shuttle. You may be required to work nights  weekdays weekends and general holidays. Wages are paid on an hourly basis with a starting rate of $19.00 per hour.
