Job Description

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our Group Finance team. This key team member will play a vital role in preparing half-year and year-end Group financial statements managing the audit process and preparing holding company management and statutory accounts. You will partner with Legal and Finance departments develop sustainability reporting support subsidiary accountants and enhance the control environment.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing financial statements and relevant notes/disclosures supporting the Group audit process and liaising with external auditors and assisting UK subsidiary accountants with their financial statements. You will draft technical accounting papers assess new accounting standards develop and integrate sustainability reporting prepare consolidation entries for Group management accounts manage accounting risks and improve the control environment. Additionally you will monitor FX translation risk and work closely with the Treasury team.

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Technical knowledge:

  • Degree educated and qualified accountant (preferably ACA)
  • Use of financial reporting systems (e.g. Microsoft D365 SAGE200 OneStream)
  • Well-developed analytical and Excel skills (experience using Power Query or Power BI)

Personal Specification:

  • Results orientated and highly numerate
  • Highly motivated and ability to work independently
  • Well-developed influencing and senior stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Ability to identify process improvements and embed change
