As Senior Group Financial Accountant you will be a key member of the Group External Reporting & Advice team you will have a mix of responsibilities. Your primary role is the planning and execution of the monthly half-yearly and year-end Group consolidation items. This will include working closely with key stakeholders across segments treasury tax and financial planning and analysis addition you will play a major role in supporting the External Reporting and the Technical Accounting sub-teams.
This role requires strong organisational skills to be able to work under pressure prioritise conflicting objectives and deliver key milestones. With a wide-ranging scope of responsibilities and stakeholders this role will provide you with significant development and future career opportunities.
Youll have:
- A degree in a business-related discipline with specific finance and accounting emphasis
- Accreditation with CA/CPA or equivalent with 2-5 years post-qualification experience
- Interest in statutory accounting and eagerness to learn and develop technical knowledge
- The ability to grasp complex issues and communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
- A strong analytical mindset with a meticulous eye for detail whilst still being able to see the longer strategic vision for the Group
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high degree of flexibility to engage other teams to provide data as required
- A good understanding of and experience in working with Hyperion Financial Reporting/MFR is beneficial
