As we expand in North America we are looking for a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to fuel our pipeline and drive growth in the region.
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers generating high-quality leads and setting up meetings for our sales team. Youll play a key role in expanding our footprint in the US market by connecting with key decision-makers in the eCommerce industry.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Goal: Your main objective is to generate high-quality Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) that align with PromptClouds ideal customer profile driving new business opportunities.
Outreach Identify research and engage potential clients via email cold calling LinkedIn and other channels.
Lead Qualification Assess potential customers pain points needs and interest in our solutions.
Sales Development Schedule discovery calls and demos for Account Executives ensuring a strong handover.
Collaboration Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation efforts and refine outreach strategies.
CRM Management Maintain accurate records of outreach engagement and pipeline activity in HubSpot
Qualifications :
What You Bring
2-4 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales role preferably in a SaaS/ startup environment.
Experience working in the US market - understanding of buyer behavior and sales cycles in North America.
Background in eCommerce or data solutions preferred familiarity with eCommerce business model platforms analytics tools or related technologies is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to craft compelling outreach messages. This would involve significant cold calling.
Proactive self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced high-growth environment with minimal management.
Experience using sales engagement tools AI tools exposure & enablement readiness.
