Your Role
AsControl Systems Manager (m/f/d) you will play a pivotal role in leading and advancing Heatens industrial automation systems and digital solutions. Your key responsibilities include:
- Taking full responsibility for the design and development of Heatens industrial automation systems including direct hands-on involvement in software development when necessary.
- Recruiting and leading a team of highly skilled control system professionals such as programmers electrical engineers and technicians.
- Proposing planning and coordinating the technological roadmap for Heatens industrial automation systems and digital solutions including product enhacements leveraging AI and data analytics in close collaboration with the CTO.
- Ensuring the selection of optimal control system equipment and tools to meet project and operational needs.
- Coordinating cross-functional collaboration between departments such as process design mechanical design and digitalization to ensure software development aligns with specifications and requirements.
Your Profile:
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
- A technical degree (Bachelors Masters or Diploma) in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field including management experience.
- Hands-on experience in test applications installation and commissioning.
- Solid expertise in designing and operating real-time control systems.
- Extensive hands-on experience with the development of electrical systems instrumentation and complex industrial automation software.
- Familiarity with traditional automation systems such as Siemens S7 is a plus.
- Proficient in modern PLC programming languages and development tools (e.g. CoDeSys).
- Skilled in at least one high-level programming language such as C# or C.
- Experience working in international environments.
- Fluency in English with German proficiency being a strong advantage.
- A passion for managing and collaborating with a team of individuals from diverse professional backgrounds.
