  • COORDINATOR I EXTENDED LEARNING OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM (ELOP)
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. Valid California administrative services credential
    2. Successful teaching or other related experience with K-8 students
    3. Successful teaching or related experience with at-risk English Learnerand gifted students
    4. Knowledge of law policies and procedures related to instruction and extended learning programs in California public schools
    5. Knowledge of community organizations and resources related to extended learning and services for students and families
    6. Knowledge and skill in classroom and professional technology use
    7. Experience in development and delivery of professional development activities
    8. Knowledge of prevention early intervention intervention programs enrichment programs and activities to assist students staff and families
    9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships withstaff students and community
    10. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
    11. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
    12. Valid drivers license and personal automobile for use on district business


    REPORTS TO: Administrator as assigned

    SUPERVISES: Staff as assigned

    JOB GOAL: To strengthen and align educational enrichment intervention and engagementprograms for students and parents by providing leadership in planning implementing and coordinating the Districts Expanded Learning Opportunities Program


    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Serves as an administrator for ELOP for afterschool academies (i.e. ELOP and ASES) intersession and summer school programs
    2. Supervises and evaluates classified and certificated staff as assigned
    3. Communicates and collaborates with parents students staff and thecommunity
    4. Aligns fiscal and material resources to support positive student outcomes and extend student learning
    5. Serves as resource for district staff and site staff in related programareas; provides training and information to assist in compliance with related law policy and procedures; plans and delivers relatedprofessional development activities
    6. Designs and demonstrates student enrichment activities and methods of implementation
    7. Participates collaboratively in meetings with district staff and outside agencies as necessary to coordinate services and ensure integration with overall educational goals
    8. Performs regular site visits to assess program implementation program delivery and plans to improve services for students
    9. Assists schools in addressing student behavior problems utilizingpositive behavior interventions to maximize student safety and achieve program goals and objectives in all extending learning programs
    10. Provides leadership through data analysis coaching innovation collaboration conflict management and intervention to meet studentoutcome goals
    11. Maintains necessary records and files reviews billing from contractorsand prepares reports as needed
    12. Models personal and professional values of equity integrity caringcollaboration personal and collective accountability
    13. Performs other related duties as assigned

    SALARY: $155410 - $188735 Annually 223 days
    (max salary includes longevity & education stipends)

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

    Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operators license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
