Summary of Responsibilities
The Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of high-rise construction projects from planning and coordination to execution and delivery. This role ensures that projects are completed on time within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead plan and manage the execution of multiple high-rise construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with the company s Quality Management System safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Oversee the work of Project Managers Construction Managers Engineers and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved according to schedule.
- Review and verify project correspondence including reports technical documents and contractual communications.
- Validate monthly progress reports prepared by the respective project teams.
- Represent the company in client consultant and authority meetings; chair internal and sub-contractor coordination meetings.
- Review construction drawings and provide guidance on construction methodology to optimize time and cost.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials in coordination with the project team.
- Oversee the submission of progress claims and follow up to ensure timely payments by clients.
- Collaborate with consultants and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues on-site.
- Participate in tendering processes and preparation of technical proposals for new projects.
- Provide regular progress updates and escalate key issues to the COO CEO Executive Director (Construction).
Requirements
Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role handling high-rise projects.
Proven experience working with main contractors on large-scale building developments.
Strong leadership coordination and communication skills.
Sound knowledge of construction contracts project planning and cost control.
Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic project environment.
