You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailResponsible for the preparation coordination and follow-up of all Electrical Instrumentation & Telecom (EIT) integration and hook-up activities related to the offshore scope of the Ruya Project. Ensures compliance with HSE standards supports EPCIC contractors and contributes to smooth execution and handover to Commissioning.
Complete all mandatory offshore and project-specific HSE trainings (e.g. IF HSE Golden Rules T-BOSIET etc.).
Promote and uphold the projects HSE culture and objectives throughout the assignment.
Identify and report unsafe conditions or behaviors; actively participate in STOP Work interventions.
Perform/attend Toolbox Meetings (TBM) for relevant EIT offshore tasks.
Ensure all work activities account for SIMOPS and Brownfield conditions when applicable.
Support and drive achievement of HSE goals set by project management.
Coordinate and oversee all offshore Electrical Instrumentation and Telecom (EIT) construction and hook-up activities.
Follow up on EPCIC Contractor s preparation and execution of EIT works including pre-commissioning scope.
Ensure timely and high-quality completion of EIT work to facilitate smooth handover to the Commissioning team.
Support Commissioning activities when required.
Liaise with contractors/subcontractors for all EIT-related technical execution and reporting matters.
Monitor contractor/subcontractor progress and ensure alignment with the execution schedule.
Provide daily and weekly progress updates including KPI reporting to the Offshore Site Representative.
Participate in risk assessments and job hazard analysis to ensure safe work planning.
Provide input to engineering and procurement processes from a constructability and execution standpoint.
Review engineering deliverables for constructability and compliance with technical requirements.
Ensure timely preparation of Permit to Work (PTW) documentation and related technical/HSE documents.
Validate the quality and traceability of all fabrication and installation works.
Raise technical queries to the onshore engineering team when clarification is required.
Participate in technical meetings SIMOPS reviews kick-off meetings and pre-job briefings.
Ensure proper management of as-built documentation (RLMU dossiers) by the contractor.
Monitor delivery of EIT materials to site and participate in inspections upon request.
Verify that all contractor equipment and materials are mobilized according to schedule.
Contribute to lessons learned reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Offshore Site Representative.
Education: Bachelors Degree / HND or equivalent in Electrical Instrumentation or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years experience in offshore oil & gas with proven track record in EIT installation and hook-up.
Strong knowledge of offshore SIMOPS and Brownfield construction.
Previous experience supervising EPCIC contractors on the client side is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and general computer literacy.
Able to manage multidisciplinary teams in a multicultural offshore environment.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication abilities.
Certifications:
Valid OPITO H2S and T-BOSIET certifications.
Familiarity with international EIT codes and standards (e.g. IEC IEEE).
Familiar with industry specifications and procedures (e.g. Total GS MANASA) is a plus.
Other:
Experience in the Middle East or Qatar is advantageous.
Willing to travel or relocate for project requirements.
