St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School a Preschool8th grade parochial school in Tacoma WA is seeking a Lunchroom and Playground Aide for theschool year.

The successful candidate must have or be in the process of obtaining their STARS certification (assistance and reimbursement for certification are available) by the first day of school.

We are looking for an individual who demonstrates strengths in the following areas:

Supervising and engaging with students during lunch and recess
Fostering respectful and inclusive social interactions among students
Showing genuine care and concern for childrens safety and well-being
Encouraging positive behavior and resolving minor conflicts in a constructive manner
Working with children who have a variety of needs and personalities
Assisting in maintaining clean safe and orderly lunchroom and playground environments
Collaborating with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and consistent routines
Providing lead teachers breaks as needed.
Promoting a supportive and nurturing atmosphere in alignment with Catholic values (practicing Catholic preferred but not required)
Performing additional duties as assigned

Working hours are from 8:00 AM 3:00 PM. This is a benefited position.

Pay range: $17.50 $19.00 per hour depending on experience.
