The Program Manager CRMC Outreach supports regular community outreach to educate and promote the CRMCs community involvement. They also build effective and strong partnerships with stakeholders to meet strategic outcomes for the CRMCs Outreach efforts.
Knowledgeable.Demonstrated knowledge of the Civil Rights Movement contemporary social justice issues and current issues in the field of museum education.
Communicative. Ability to confidently communicate across lines of differences. Clearly and effectively present to community members and stakeholders. Demonstrate experience working effectively within collaborative and/or movement structures.
Efficient.Ability to effectively manage time while working in a fast-paced environment. Pivoting from one assignment to another to accomplish goals and the complete assignments.
Mission Vision & Culture Alignment.Demonstrates an understanding of and a commitment to SPLCs mission vision and values.
Develop plan and implement community programs events and outreach for the CRMCs community engagement initiatives and partnerships.
Build effective and strong partnerships with stakeholders to meet strategic outcomes for the CRMCs Outreach efforts.
Connect the CRMC with local organizations programs events and creative opportunities that provide visibility.
Representthe CRMC at community and professional meetings conferences media requests and speaking engagements that support the CRMCs mission.
Coordinate and manage special projects and calendars.
Facilitate and manage CRMC operations as needed and directed by the Manager Museum Experience.
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.

This is an exempt role and the minimum starting salary is $64202 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

This job is performed under general office conditions and is not subject to any strenuous physical demands or dangerous conditions.
Occassionally this role will work some evenings and weekends.
