Position Summary
The Director of Marketing and Public Relations is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing communications and public relations strategies that enhance BAMSIs brand support its mission and drive engagement with stakeholders. This role requires a results-driven innovative leader adept at leveraging data-driven decision-making and technology to achieve measurable outcomes across a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Branding
- Develop and implement an integrated marketing and communications strategy that aligns with BAMSIs mission and strategic objectives.
- Strengthen BAMSIs brand identity and ensure consistency across all platforms and materials.
- Drive market research initiatives to inform strategy and identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
Digital Transformation & Technology Integration
- Oversee the digital transformation of marketing and communication efforts including website management social media and digital campaigns.
- Utilize technology to streamline processes enhance user experience and improve accessibility of information.
- Implement tools and platforms that enable data collection and analysis to inform decision-making.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing and PR initiatives.
- Analyze data to assess campaign performance and inform future strategies.
- Prepare regular reports for leadership to communicate progress and impact.
Public Relations & Community Engagement
- Serve as the primary media contact cultivating relationships with media outlets and managing press releases and public statements.
- Develop and execute public relations strategies to enhance BAMSIs visibility and reputation.
- Engage with community partners stakeholders and the public to promote BAMSIs programs and initiatives.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with Content Coordinator to fostera culture of innovation execution and excellence
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure cohesive messaging and support their respective departmental goals.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Public Relations or related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and public relations with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to use data analytics to drive decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the human services or non-profit sector is highly desirable.
