Job Description

BAS Control Technician and Installer

Annapolis MD

Yearly Salary: $80000 - $90000



Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for installing wiring programming and commissioning Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC and other mechanical systems in commercial buildings
  • Install BAS hardware including controllers sensors actuators and other system components
  • Perform electrical wiring and terminations for control panels field devices and network communications in accordance with local codes and standards
  • Conduct system checks to ensure proper functionality of installed controls
  • Calibrate sensors verify performance and troubleshoot/resolve any issues
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Provide training to customers on system operation


Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in BAS Controls or related field
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of low voltage wiring networking and communication protocols
  • Ability to troubleshoot control system hardware and software issues
  • High school diploma technical training or associate degree in related field
  • Relevant certifications (NICET BAS manufacturer certifications) are a plus
  • Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
