Job Description
- Responsible for installing wiring programming and commissioning Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC and other mechanical systems in commercial buildings
- Install BAS hardware including controllers sensors actuators and other system components
- Perform electrical wiring and terminations for control panels field devices and network communications in accordance with local codes and standards
- Conduct system checks to ensure proper functionality of installed controls
- Calibrate sensors verify performance and troubleshoot/resolve any issues
- Maintain accurate records
- Provide training to customers on system operation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in BAS Controls or related field
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring networking and communication protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot control system hardware and software issues
- High school diploma technical training or associate degree in related field
- Relevant certifications (NICET BAS manufacturer certifications) are a plus
- Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation
