Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Support Lead.Join our Information Technology team and play a key role in in driving operational excellence and ensuring the stability and performance of critical business applications through proactive leadership and expert technical support. Reporting to Application Support Manager youll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What Youll Do

This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:

  • Provide second-level support and maintenance for critical business applications ensuring optimal system performance and adherence to ITSM processes.
  • Lead and develop the Application Support team through mentoring performance coaching and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Manage incidents service requests application updates and changes through ServiceNow to maintain service continuity and minimise downtime.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive application efficiency enhance user experience and support cost-saving initiatives.
  • Drive quality standards and compliance by promoting a culture of continuous improvement and proactively managing risk and performance metrics.

What Youll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Proven extensive experience in application support or development within an ITIL framework.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including MS SQL and Power Platform.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex application issues and provide level 2/3 support.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with ITIL certification viewed favourably.
