Life Science Outsourcing Inc (LSO) is a contract manufacturer of medical devices with in-built capabilities to offer clients full-service solutions through our six divisions. Clients rely on LSO to perform all activities required to introduce their products to market from sourcing to drop shipping.

We are currently seeking a self-motivatedSr. Operations Managerwith positive engagement and collaborative energy to join our team and support the continued growth of LSO. TheSr. Operations Manager role involves overseeing production planning procurement and warehouse operations to ensure alignment with manufacturing goals and timelines. It includes supporting the development of production plans budgets and schedules based on capacity and production specifications. The position also requires proactive monitoring of material shortages identifying potential delays and adjusting schedules to meet deadlines. Additionally it is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by analyzing variances determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to optimize inventory control.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead and oversee the planning purchasing and inventory teams and ensure communication of needs and objectives to the team along with training developing mentoring and assisting team members.
  • Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effect performance management.
  • Plan workflow and schedules for production departments.
  • Ensure accuracy of all pertinent data and used in the company ERP (Deacom) system.
  • Strong collaboration with sales and operating planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Work closely with human resources to lead teams with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting inclusive and productive environment.
  • Accountable for ensuring that planning and purchasing activities that support production schedules are met daily.
  • Develops and implements continuous improvement.
  • Develop & support cycle counting program to ensure inventory accuracy goals are achieved and maintained.
  • Develop implement and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals progress and obstacles for our key initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with all department heads external partners and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
  • Plan monitor and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
  • Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs
  • Oversee training of Material Control personnel in proper methods and procedures.
  • Maintains warehouse in accordance with GMP standards.
  • Train personnel in proper methods procedures and reporting within the ERP system.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or related field
  • 10 years senior leadership role in the appropriate field
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles including finance customer service production material and employee management
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands
  • Strong working knowledge FDA/ISO Regulations.
  • Proficiency with automated business systems MSOffice skills.
  • Proficiency in utilization and implementation of MPS/MRP/ERP systems.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively written and verbal as well as good people skills.
