Position Overview

Primary responsibility to support Europe and Africa Wiring Operation by assuring the technical background for best-in-class production equipment/machines acquisition to coordinate with Plant equipment engineering teams and suppliers the equipment procurement for the new project launches. Additionally to coordinate the automation projects with Plant engineering teams and suppliers and a special focus shall be assured on equipment development and standardization on regional and global level

Key Skills :

  • Evaluation and benchmarking of machines / equipments technical parameters and prices.
  • Technical and economic preparation of machinery purchases participation in decision-making process
  • Support of the new projects in terms of industrialization investment preparation and acquisition of production equipment
  • Regional support of the Production Plants (Europe Africa)
  • Coordinate the automation projects with Plant engineering teams and suppliers.
  • New machines / equipment development coordination of developments with suppliers
  • Participation on new machines testing and homologation
  • Consideration of related safety regulations during machines and equipment selection
  • Contact and development of domestic and foreign suppliers
  • Standardization of production equipment in the regions Plants
  • Participation in development projects
  • Specific investment costs reduction.

To be successful for this role:

  • University or BAC5 degree (e.g. electrical mechanical engineering)
  • Fluent in English
  • CAD design software knowledge;
  • Precise accurate self-sufficient work;
  • Flexible with good interpersonal skills and willingness to travel.
