Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organizedMechanicalConstruction Project Engineerto join our team. The successful candidate will assist in planning coordinating and overseeing construction projects while ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and management ofconstruction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Support the preparation of project schedules budgets and progress reports.
  • Review project plans drawings and specifications to ensure understanding of requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and potential delays.
  • Communicate with contractors subcontractors suppliers and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of change orders purchase orders and other project documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain organized project files records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction project coordination.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of civil construction methods materials and equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Project) and construction management software (e.g. Procore Primavera or similar).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Certifications (Preferred but not Required)

  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour Construction Safety Certification.
