Job Title: Project Engineer - Turnkey 5.0

Turnkey 5.0 is a Architecture and Construction firm based out of Kalyan Nagar Bangalore.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our Turnkey 5.0 team based in Tiruchirapalli. The ideal candidate will possess 4-5 years of proven experience in managing all aspects of site execution project coordination billing processes and manpower handling. This role demands strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Site Management:
- Oversee all on-site activities ensuring adherence to project plans specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and efficient resource utilization.
- Monitor progress against the project schedule and proactively identify and address potential delays or issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with standards.
- Maintain accurate site records including progress reports material inventory and safety logs.
- Project Management:
- Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning execution and closure of projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and track milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams (design procurement etc.) to ensure timely delivery of inputs and resources.
- Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
- Billing:
- Manage the project billing process including the preparation and submission of invoices.
- Verify contractor and vendor bills against work completed and contractual agreements.
- Track project costs and ensure adherence to the budget.
- Address billing-related queries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manpower Handling:
- Plan and allocate manpower resources effectively to meet project requirements.
- Supervise and guide site teams ensuring adherence to work instructions and safety protocols.
- Monitor team performance and address any performance-related issues.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment training and other manpower-related activities.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders including clients consultants contractors and internal teams.
- Organize and participate in project meetings.
- Prepare and distribute relevant project documentation.
- Quality and Safety:
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures and standards.
- Implement and enforce site safety regulations and procedures.
- Participate in safety audits and address any identified non-conformities.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Mechanical Electrical or related field).
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in site management and project execution preferably in a turnkey project environment.
- Proven experience in managing billing processes and cost control.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively handle and supervise manpower resources.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.1
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to2 be based in Tiruchirapalli and travel to project sites as required.
