Risk and Identity Solutions team within VAS (Value added Services) organization is looking for a curious enthusiastic empathetic technical leader to help our engineering teambe the best they can be solve problems execute on ideas advocate for the customer and contribute to a team culture built on trust and mutual respect. As a Sr Manageryou will set the vision and strategy for the application development team ensuring that our solutions are flexible performant resilient and provides our customers with the best possible experience. This role is a managerial and hands-on technology role.

Essential Functions

Experienced in managing portfolios and programs of large and medium size
Strategic thinker who is adept at managing complex client-vendor relationships and delivering global solutions on time and within budget by building and leading high-performing teams
Proficient in analyzing & translating business requirements to technical and architectural requirements working with cross functional teams
Consistently develops very strong sustainable relationships with team peers business partners and executive decision makers
Design code unit test document and implement new solutions as well as existing applications
Contribute to enhancements and changes to existing B2B applications codebase
Develop code that complies with design specifications and meets security best practices
Coding must adhere to all standards for security be easily maintainable and have high system performance
Collaborate with Development & QA staff on individual and team deliverables
Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization
Create documentation and procedures for deployments and maintenance
Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to standards best practices and development methodologies
Work closely with project team and other groups (e.g. Network QA Ops Engineering)
Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate to ensure the quality of work delivered by self and teammates are in accordance with development standards
Interact with business units to define requirements/modifications and use case to utilize in designing appropriate solutions
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree OR 11 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
5 years of experience in at least one programming language or technology including but not limited to Java JavaScript etc.
5 years of experience with source control build and deployment tools such as Jenkins Maven GIT Ansible
Proficient in implementing design patterns and hands on knowledge of Spring SQL MongoDB or similar
Experience with web service standards and related patterns (REST JSON)
Experience developing large scale enterprise class distributed system or subsystems that require high availability low latency & strong data consistency computing
Experience implementing solutions for low-latency distributed services using open standard technologies
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in software engineering best practices and the ability to influence the team to adopt the practices
Demonstrate the ability in inspiring motivating growing the team to achieve high team engagement efficiency and quality
In-depth understanding of agile principles demonstrating expertise in running agile teams in an enterprise setting
Strong communication skills be able to influence executive teams and other organizations on decisions and proven collaboration skills with other groups
Be data driven understand the need for and applying analytics
Self-motivated with strong drive for excellence
Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Excellent verbal written and presentation skills particularly a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally
Experience working on consumer facing product collaborating with multiple teams that have different development models release cycles and developer needs
Experience developing highly available and scalable REST based webservices
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 135300.00 to 196300.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
