Job Description
Position Description:
The individual accepting this assignment will supervise thegirls locker room and teach physical education and health at the high school level (grades 9 12). Prefer someone withprevious high school PE and health experience.
1. Must communicate effectively with parents staff and students.
2. Will teach physical education classes.
3. Must work effectively with students of varying abilities.
Special Requirements: (Licensure training specialty skills or previous experience)
1. Valid Oregon teaching license appropriate to the assignment.
2. Appropriateendorsement required.
3. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
4. Provide structure and leadership to facilitate physical education curriculum change and assist in identifying physical education curricular needs.
5. Provide advice and consultation in regard to District policy formation and priorities as they affect physical education.
6. Ability to work well with other staff students and parents.
This position is 1.0 FTE; 191 days per year.
Start date: 8/25/2025
New staff in-service will be held 8/19/2025-8/20/2025 and will be paid in addition to contract days.
