Job Description
Were seeking team members with a passion for designing public infrastructure projects such as:
Responsibilities:
- Support project engineers in the development of design plans specifications and technical reports.
- Assist in the design and drafting of municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and engineering calculations.
- Lead and manage projects including scheduling budgeting and client coordination.
- Oversee internal team members (EITs CAD technicians) and external contractors or consultants.
- Review submittals manage bid processes and handle construction administration duties.
- Mentor junior staff and assist with QA/QC.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred)
- EIT Certification (for entry-level role) or Texas PE License (for PE role)
- EIT: Minimum 1 year of experience in municipal water/wastewater design.
- PE: Minimum 5 years in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D AutoCAD WaterCAD ArcGIS or other relevant modeling and design software.
- Knowledge of HEC-RAS HEC-HMS and other hydraulic tools is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Capable of multitasking and shifting priorities as needed
- Detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset
